"Florida teen to be honored for helping to save life of booking police officer"
A Florida teen Jamal Rutledge, who is 17 who had just been arrested for violating probation by committing crimes such as burglaries saves the life of a everyday hero. However this wasn't just no ordinary cop, this cop is a officer who was booking Jamal. The officer who was 49 collapsed to the floor, sitting nearby Jamal recognized the situation and began kicking the security fence, and yelling to alert the other officers in the area. This attempt worked. Two officers performed CPR, and used a defibrillator in a effort to save his life. Jamal and 3 other officers were recognized Jan. 21.
