Boston Marathon Suspect in COurt

              Boston Marathon bombing suspect  returned to court Thursday for the first time since he was arraigned in July 2013.The was a tight sercurity for the courthouse. Led in the court by two u.s. marshals  Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was packed in a room with fbi agents.Three people were killed and more than 260 were injured when two bombs exploded near the finish line of the April 2013 marathon. Tsarnaev, who has pleaded not guilty to 30 federal charges, faces the possibility of the death penalty

RISE IN NYS

i  recently traveled to New York City and found myself on the sidelines of thousands of people fighting against police brutality. These People paraded streets  and banded together with people they didn't know for the same purpose. I thought it was crazy the amount of people and personally i am not taking a side in this.

Officers Down

        " DECATUR, Ga. –  Authorities say two police officers were shot near the eastern edge of Atlanta, and a suspected gunman is being sought.DeKalb County police Capt. Stephen Fore says both officers suffered what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.Dozens of police cars swarmed the DeKalb County neighborhood, where several roads were closed after the Friday morning gunfire near Interstate 285. Video from television stations showed officers and police dogs searching roadsides and a field near a large apartment complex.DeKalb County Schools spokesman Quinn Hudson said shortly before 9 a.m. that four nearby schools were on lockdown: Towers and Columbia highs schools; Snapfinger Elementary; and DeKalb Preparatory Academy.Hudson says the schools were put on lockdowns at the request of police."

This article is crazy to me. Officers wake up to protect us everyday, and two just were shot these officers woke up and never thought they would be in that situation. All i can say is thank you to everyone who puts there life at risk for other people.

           Dr. John Schneider is our teacher for current events at Niagara Catholic. We recently learned he found a new job better for him and his family back home in Canada. For John he traveled from Canada and the U.S. Every week for his work which he loves very much. For us we are heartbroken but we know its for the best. This post is a post of thanks and a wish for good luck. We love you wish you the best and see you again for its not a goodbye but see you later.

Hero Calls out a Phonie

A real hero.

A american veteran encounters what appears to be a another american soldier however after a closer examination he notices a few funny things about his uniform. One that his flag was too low, he had a badge that said he has served over 3 different wars, which was impossible for his age. The soldier didn't let it go and posted a video of him calling out the impostor which millions have seen. Fox new interviewed the veteran ask why did you do this and he said he liked to share stories with soldiers he sees, but once he saw his lies he stated he has seen friends die in that uniform and he doesn't deserve to wear it. I think he was brave and thankful for his service.

        A small group, or a "band of brothers" unite to protect against the riots in mission from the outbreak after the court decision. They call them selves the oath keepers, here to stand up and fight when others run away. During an interview on fox news between the news cast and the oath keepers they were asked why do you do it when you know its illegal, and will you stop? They responded with saying to see the smiles on the faces of those we protect and the buildings standing where we stand means it all, and we wont stop at nothing to keep protecting, its what we do. I believe if others are getting away with rioting then they should get away with protecting.
